What filling can be chosen for Steel fire Door

1.Honeycomb

Honeycomb is a polymer/compound formed into continuous uniform hexagonal cells.  This material can resist high pressure.It is the best choice with its Light weight, high strength, smooth surface, non-toxic environmental protection.It will be a very good choice if you need it flat and with light weight.

2.Perlite

Perlite is a lightweight granular material that's white in colour. It looks and feels like little bits of polystyrene but is actually made from expanded volcanic glass, heated to 1000°C until it 'pops' (like popcorn) to many times its original size. It's lightweight, sterile, and easy to handle, and is long-lasting.when it is used in doors, it will help to be fire-resistant and also keep hot energy inside the room.

3.Aluminum Silicate Wool

It will be the best one in these 3 types, it is Low thermal conductivity and good insulation performance. When used under the same conditions, aluminum silicate products have a thermal conductivity lower than other insulation materials by more than 30%. Lightweight and stable, with characteristics such as softness, lightness, and elasticity.If you have enough budget and require higher standard, it will be a good choice for fire doors you need.
