Fire exit hardware – This hardware is intended for use on swinging fire doors to facilitate the safe egress of persons in the case of emergency, as well as provide fire protection for door assemblies. . Only products bearing the UL Certified or Listed Fire Exit Hardware Label are rated for use on fire door assemblies and should not be confused with UL Certified Panic Hardware Label which is only intended for use on non-rated exit doors.
